Artistic Directors Brandi Yruegas Dillon and Michael Floyd are pleased to announce that the next UTW production will be OUT IN AUSTIN. This brand new docu-drama tells the experiences of LGBTQ people living and loving in Austin. The piece will be derived from in depth interviews with real Austin-ites. Interviews are just getting underway with a goal of having the piece ready for production in late 2013. premiere of DAHLIA as part of the 2013 Frontera Fest
Short Fringe competition.
DAHLIA is the story of a screenwriter in a troubled marriage. While
writing his latest crime thriller, he develops an obsession with
the lead character. This obsession could pave the way to riches
or pull him into the depths of insanity.
Casting for the following roles:
Paul - 25-35 year old to play 29. Intellectual, writer
type. Lead Role.
Elizabeth - 18 - 25 year old to play 22. Black hair, pretty,
slim build.
Katherine - 20 - 30 year old to play 26. Beautiful, slim build,
socialite type.
Dark Man - 25-50 year old to play middle-age. Tall, menacing, imposing,
physical role.
These roles are non-paid.

This original short piece scripted and directed by Michael Floyd examines the often chaotic relationship between artist and muse.
